Until you pick a theme, the site follows your device's light or dark setting and stores nothing for it.
Your choice
On your first visit a notice asks for your choice. Allow keeps a light or dark choice on this device. Essential only does not: the theme you pick applies for the visit and is forgotten, and a theme already kept is removed. Either way the site works the same, and the two essential entries stay, because the language and your answer cannot be remembered without them.
You can change your answer at any time with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page, or clear the site's data in your browser's settings.
Your theme in the app
getcruxy.com and the Cruxy app at cruxy.ai are separate sites, so they cannot read each other's storage. Links from this site into the app carry the theme you are on here in the address (?theme=light, ?theme=dark or ?theme=system), so the app, its sign-in page included, opens in the same mode. Nothing else travels with it. In the app, its own cookie notice decides whether the choice is kept, and once you are signed in, a theme saved on your account takes precedence.
Counting visits without cookies
We count visits to getcruxy.com on our own servers without cookies and without storing anything in your browser, as the privacy policy describes. Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are not counted.
The Cruxy app
The app at cruxy.ai sets its own cookies, to sign you in and to run the app, and asks for its own choice the first time you open it. Every cookie it sets is listed in the privacy policy.
Changes
If the site starts to store anything not listed here, this page changes first, and the notice asks for your choice again.
